Copyright and music video

Hi there

I am a student, for our final major we are remaking a music video. I know the music is copyrighted.

What is law over video?

I know if we do not put it on internet we are okay because it is for eductaion purposes.

For educational purposes I believe fair use covers you. At college a lot of my work used copyrighted material (such as music, songs etc) and there were never any problems.

Problems only tend to arise when you try to use something like that commercially, ie to make money.
