| Can I copy a quotation from a website and then give it out in handouts to the people? Would this be considered as making multiple copies? |

Clearly it would be making multiple copies.
If in doubt - get permission from the copyright owner of the material you wish to quote - he/she would probably appreciate the publicity this would generate for their site and gladly give permission. |

if one were to use it for criticism or review, that should be okay, isn't it? let's critique the quote or use a text from a website for criticism and review |
