Did you know that services of copyright registeration companies are no longer needed?
Whilst I am gagged from disclosing the full details of my own Copyright infringement case[Cashback v Cashback ] at the High Court [June 2008].
I can say that in the hearing the Judge His Honour Mr Justice Henderson allowed as proof of registration ‘a title page that said the title of the work , the name and the address of the alleged writer and the year
His ruling showed that there was even no need for the laymens copyright protection[sending your self a copy of the script and not opening it] nor of the registeration service .
The legal system is such that this case will be used as a case law for not registering work and before you can say pick up your mortgage payments such services will no longer be needed and from a creative point of view anyone can go to the computer and say Hey here is one I did earlier.....
Just thought you should know.
Cashback paper or plastic
