Banned?

In a bid to prevent Spam of this forum, each message posted is scanned for 'suspect words' and scored based on the content.

The system also takes into account the number of posts that users have made - users that have contributed more are deemed less likely to write inappropriate posts than new users and are given a higher 'threshold'.

If Spam is detected, the user is automatically banned and details of the abuse recorded, the users IP address is also recorded to a blacklist and further attempts to post or register from that IP are subsequently blocked.

New user registrations are also checked against spam rules, and many known spammers are blocked at sign-up or account activation.

(email address - replace the AT and DOT as appropriate).
