Hi all,
I would be very grateful if I could get advice on a logo a company has made for a website I am having built.
It is for a London based company in the building trade.
Its the logo it has a part a very small part of the London underground map in it, followed by a company name so ####### London (a building trade followed by London)... is that against copyright law?
Many thanks for any help received. |

Hi js,
The underground map is certainly subject to copyright, so to be safe I suggest you approach Transport for London for permission to use the part you need. TfL have a webpage specifically for this purpose: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/corporate/media/74812.aspx. Make sure you look at the link at the bottom of the page "Read more about how you can use ..." _________________ Advice or comment provided here is not and does not purport to be legal advice as defined by s.12 of Legal Services Act 2007 |
